EZTranslate - Translator is developed and operated by NPH Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our translation application. By using EZTranslate, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide translation services, we may collect the following information:

• Text input: Text you enter for translation. Text is sent to translation services solely to provide the translation result and is not stored on our servers.
• Photos & images: Images you select or capture for OCR (optical character recognition) text extraction. Images are processed locally or via secure APIs and are not retained beyond the session.
• Voice input: Audio captured when you use the voice-to-text feature. Audio is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition framework and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Translation history: Your recent translations may be stored locally on your device for quick access. This data never leaves your device.
• Usage data: Anonymized app usage statistics (e.g., features used, language pairs) to improve service quality. This data is not linked to your identity.
• Device information: Device type and OS version for compatibility and support purposes.

3. Camera & Microphone Access

EZTranslate requests the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used to capture images for OCR text recognition and translation. We do not record video or store camera data.
• Photo Library: Used to select existing photos for text recognition. Photos are processed in-app and not uploaded to external servers without your action.
• Microphone: Used for voice input to convert your speech to text for translation. Audio is processed in real time and not stored.
• Speech Recognition: Used to transcribe voice input. Handled by Apple's on-device or server-side speech recognition (subject to Apple's Privacy Policy).

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security on your iPhone.

4. Subscription & Payment Data

EZTranslate offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple. For details on Apple's data handling, please review Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. How We Use Your Information

• To perform text, photo, and voice translation on your behalf.
• To provide text-to-speech (TTS) playback of translated content.
• To improve translation accuracy and app performance.
• To provide customer support and resolve technical issues.
• To verify subscription status and enable premium features.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

• Translation API providers: Third-party translation services used to process text translations. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your data for other purposes.
• Apple Inc.: For subscription management, In-App Purchase processing, and Speech Recognition services.
• Analytics providers: Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be shared with analytics services to help improve the app.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

7. Data Retention

Text inputs and translations are not stored on our servers beyond the time needed to return results. Translation history stored locally on your device is retained until you clear it or uninstall the app. You may delete your local history at any time from within the app settings.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect data transmitted between the app and translation services. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

9. Children's Privacy

EZTranslate is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
